Bullying is a real problem at this school. Even though the teachers are great, they don't have control over the school culture. These kids are so mean. They say horrible things. There's no focus on kindness or tolerance. When I think about sending my kid here for two and a half more years, I get a pit in my stomach. It's not good anyone's mental health to be bullied everyday.

I had 2 children attend Martinez and one is now a practicing lawyer and the other is about to graduate UF. I was shocked to see the trolling of this high performing school. Frankly, many of the complaints I read are part and parcel of the middle school experience which is a difficult time for every...

The bullying at this school is extreme, and the administration doesn’t do anything to support students. It’s not ok to ignore bullying, especially given the current environment. Martinez is proof that SEL is a failure. This is a very unsafe environment for many kids.
