This schools administration kinda sucks. The culture around the school is all about snitching and getting revenge so teachers can get you in trouble. This school culture is just beyond bad.

Some teachers were horrible and there were way too many fights. I almost got my backpack stolen, and my younger brother was bullied all the time. Some teachers were nice, but others would reprimand students for crying during tornado drills. My experience at Mahone was horrendous, and I would never want to go back.

Having attended this school all three years and graduating years ago, I can say my experience was good overall with some flaws here and there. I appreciate the school for all it has given me, allowing me to participate in it's many clubs and activities. I was able to make good friends and enjoyed the layout of the school, unique from other institutions. I felt some teachers were qualified and enthusiastic while others.. not so much. I believe the school had been better in the past but is still an adequate institution now, just not exceptional.

Just an awful school. The teachers and administrative staff do not care about the students. They are bullies. There is no concern for the kid's emotional needs. There is no making the kids feel comfortable or making a happy environment.

This school is horrible & needs a realignment. They had a child with known behavioral issues listening to “pumped up kicks” in class all day & teacher never cared to notice. Then he goes out the next day to attempt something horrific. These teachers are so disconnected from their students.

It was so bad we pulled our son after 1 semester and it him in private school.

Went to middle school here and absolutely loved it even though it had its ups and down
