My experience at McDowell high school hasn't been bad even though you never know how truly people are their is some honest and helpful people at this school that can help you achieve to graduate and believe in yourself.

It was okay... semi supportive staff but very motivated for sure. Not an adequate sports program but good players with great heart. Excellent NJROTC Program and wonderful EMT/Firefighting students. I definitely reccomend participation in the CTE program.

My experience at Mcdowell High school was not the best but it could have been much worse. I like that the school is willing to change and evolve. I would change the way the administration treats troubled students and how they handle the dress code.

In the past three years, this school has improved tremendously. It shouldn't get a bad rap. The teachers truly care about the students, the graduation rate has gone up and it has so much student involvement.
