My overall experience is good but it was better when I first started at AMSA in the 6th grade. Many changes were made that made the school more like a public school and not like an advanced school like they talk about but the education and diversity is still top notch. Just the administation could use some work.

AMSA fosters a great sense of community through its tight-knit family. The stem classes are especially amazing as they offer a vast variety of high level classes for students to participate in.

I was certainly well prepared by AMSA over the last seven years. At times it was hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but overall I couldn't ask for much more with what resources we had as a public charter.

The administrators at this institution not at a loss for self bravado. Unfortunately this falls woefully short of the reality! Their rating as among the "top schools in MA" is derived more from the self selection of students who excel at taking standardized tests vs pedagogy, For starters, the curri...

DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO LEARN! from experience, everything is too fast paced and there's so much work that you're basically on auto pilot mode and more focused on finishing the work than taking your time to actually learn the material. 90 percent of the students that attend...

I am the parent of an 8th grader that started AMSA in 6th grade. AMSA offered us a tremendous boost to middle school quality and opportunities over my child's previous school. Almost like a light switch, school became more engaging, curious and enjoyable. There are some drawbacks, the facilities are...

Amsa is a very hard school to go to for homework, strict teachers, and mostly social things. It's too chaotic, and the only good thing about AMSA is getting into a decent college. So if you're a parent or guardian reading this thinking about sending your child to Amsa, I suggest you think about it f...
