I have had an amazing time at MHS, especially during spirit week. This school has a pride like no other and homecoming week is the time where all student come together and dress/act crazy. Assemblies are the best time and there is no better way to be acquainted into a new town.

My experience at Mascoutah High School has been very positive. The administrative staff is very supportive and welcoming. The teachers create a culture where you feel comfortable to learn and speak out when you do not understand. The school spirit is very high and there are a good variety of clubs and organizations for everyone's interests.

I had some really great teachers and I learned a lot more than I had at previous schools I had been to. However the administration is terrible and doesn't do anything to stop things like bullying or discrimination. They are especially terrible if you have a non-visible health condition. I have a heart condition and when I would go to the nurse's to call my parents they would tell me it was "just anxiety" and that they didn't want me to rest because I had missed too much school already. This wouldn't be so bad if I was struggling with my grades but I was doing very well despite all thr absences I had that were because of my condition. The students can be very mean and exclusionary as well.

Great! supports student-athletes, strongly values education, large variety of inclusive clubs, some great teachers that go above and beyond for their students.

A 3/10 overall. Some of the teachers were kind and memorable, but the school definitely has issues with bullying, racism, and cultural appropriation. Students don’t understand how to treat people of other races respectfully (which makes sense due to the lack of diversity) and it causes conflicts thr...
