it's pretty good education wise, but it's very very white. along with the fact racism is not seen as that big of an issue as long as you aren't saying that all minorities are the worst and white people are the best. besides being trapped in its own little white safety bubble, it's a nice school with fun clubs and nice teachers.

I moved to the Highland School District my freshman year. I struggled but that was expected when entering a new school. Highland was extremely welcoming and helpful. I made so many memories all throughout my 4 years there. My favorite part about Highland was the feeling of being apart of a family, or in Highland terms.. being apart of the swarm. I genuinely don't have any critiques, my experience with Highland will be one I will always be thankful for.

I went to Highland from kindergarten to my senior year, and I would say that my biggest criticism are the students rather than the staff. I am a first generation American, from two African parents, and from the time I was 5 years old, the students never let me forget that I wasn’t one of them. While...

We have 2 kids at HHS and love it. It should be a 10/10. The excellent teachers, great coaches, the best band director who supports the kids simultaneously participating in sports…we couldn’t be happier.

Highland is a wonderful school district! It is just the right size where you get to know other families and it is a very friendly and giving community. They actually care about each other unlike some large districts where students get lost in the crowd.

In my book it is over rated. They do not care about bullying and try to shut you up. They graduate kids w disabilities even though they did not go to school the last 6 months of school. The teachers are not qualified and all the good teachers they make them retire.
