Most of the individual teachers are fine but a few were hired with out proper training, or in specialized classes such as performing arts they hire people with the wrong art degree. Ex: choir major for band. The school environment is good not amazing but not bad.

Skyline High School was an average high school experience, nothing out of the ordinary. They were usually the first in the district to try things such as standards-based grading and new weapons detectors. I felt safe because of those implementations but it was unfortunate that we had to put those in place.

My experience at Skyline has been an average one. I very much just keep to myself. I haven't had any interaction with office or security. I'm an average an B and A student. And I am involved in sports. I run cross country and track & field. They have a good sport department. I would say they have a decent academic system. But overall I would say that Skyline is an average school.

No one reaches out to parents when children are struggling, no response when you ask questions about tardies or absences. My son is sophomore and the communication between a few of his teachers and I is horrible, his English doesn't seem to listen or care about concerns, marks him absent when he isn't and makes him retake tests because of being marked absent when he was there then uses the grade that is worse. My school disrepects people that I hang out with. This got me and a girl not hang out with each other. My dad and the teachers then prevents me from talking about her. They tell me it's a small deal when it is acutally a big deal.
