Metuchen High School is a great school that allowed me to grow as a person and understand the challenges of life. While it is not a perfect school (largely due to the disgusting food), I enjoy attending my classes and using the resources that I am provided with.

Not the best high school, not the worst high school. Principal is nice, but some of the newer implemented policies aren't the best

The small town setting affects every aspect of the school. Overall good experience, was able to bond with my teachers.

Comparing my high school education to others in college, I can say confidently that MHS prepared me adequately; I didn't feel at a disadvantage towards those from private schools, magnet schools, or other public schools. its a good school but if you are interested in after school extra curricular activities, like sports, many of the coaches are biased and only favor students who are white, like the cheer leading coach who only favors white girls and does team selections unfairly. Metuchen is a wonderful town to raise a child in. I moved back here to raise my son. The school spirit is wonderful, as are the teachers and curricula.
