Mitchell public schools offers students an early outing every Friday at 12:30pm. All students enjoy the short day. Seniors are given the option of a senior plan. The senior plan is given to students who are involved in college classes or have a job outside of school. The senior plan allows students to be dismissed from school every day at 1:30pm. Teachers are kind to students and offer support in every way needed to allow students to become leaders in the classroom and community.

I have been very pleased with the Mitchell School system. All of the educators and administrators are very interactive with the children. My oldest son's biggest concern when we have discussed relocating for my work is that he doesn't want to leave his school because he likes it so much.
