My school was small, which was a good thing. Teachers knew students and cared about them. However, we didn't have many opportunities as far as extracurriculars, and our number of AP courses was small. Our math department was severely lacking and that made preparation for the ACT and college courses difficult. All in all it was a good experience, I just wish small schools could offer more.

At Buffalo Island Central they make sure that you have what you need in school. They even help you with things that you do not have in your home. There are so many programs to join that you can't join them all.

I have been on the receiving end of the bullying that happens in this district, and the teachers and staff don't do anything about it.
