Sun Valley gets a bad reputation but it's actually a pretty good school. The teachers are great and the academics are fabulous.

Sun Valley is a decent high school that comes with its ups and downs but it is a great place to find a tribe of people. Sun Valley has all the right tools for college readiness, all you have to do is contact your counselors and they will walk you through every process and have you all set for graduation. Our school tries really hard to make sure that nothing gets in the way of you being able to move onto the next chapter of your life .

I've had a great time being a student at SVHS, and met many wonderful people who have become my friends. I am grateful to have been able to learn here and take advantage of the many opportunities offered to students, such as dual-enrollment, various honor courses, diverse classes and staff. If I had to change one thing about my school, it would be to push for more student and parent involvement.

Dr. Harvey and the school administration show no accountability. Students are free to disrupt and be verbally abusive and disrespectful to teachers with no fear of repercussions because the administration doesn’t care. The administration only cares about what the outside world perceives, but parents...

My daughter attends this school and was diagnosed with a learning disability. The counselor and VP were very proactive in modifying her curriculum and offering help with a 504 plan. She's adapted well and has a great support team.

My student told me that some classrooms are out of control and noisey when she was trying to learn. The teachers didn't do anything but say to tune it out which I think is very unfair. There is bullying and not much done about it. The school is very dirty and old. Hopefully there will be a new one b...
