The teachers were all very kind and accepting towards people with disabilities or people who were a part of the lgbt community. The students however were not. The staff was very kind about issues, however they didn't make any of a difference when it came to protecting disabled or lgbt teens. They chalked it up to 'high schoolers being high schoolers' instead of recognizing it as a genuine problem. All I can say, as a trans and autistic person, moving out of this school system was the best decisions I made during my 12 years there.

I enjoyed my four years in Mount Sinai. I would like to see less politics and favoritism though. There are many parents that work in the school, which makes it awkward for many. I also needed more assistance in guidance to further my education.

My kid graduated from this school, and so did my niece. The school is terrible. I would have moved years earlier if I knew how bad it was. The principal of the school had his kids attending, and they were permitted to do whatever they wanted because there was no consequences because of who their dad...

Very disappointed in the school overall. Most unwelcoming school I ever seen. Teachers and coaches pick favorites. They allow bullying and when your child sticks up for himself he gets punished. Has no diversity here. Huge disappointment they do not welcome new children or new parents to the school...
