The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have had both good and bad experiences with Brown County High School. The teachers can sometimes play favorites and not give some students the amount of help they need.

Brown County High School is full of wonderful teachers and students. If anything I think the administration should change. There is no room for students to voice their opinion or try to change the world. It's frustrating to have all of our ideas heard and loved by the teachers but completely shot down by administration.

I like this school it is homey. Sometimes there are too many rules. The classes are good and you get put in them according to your appropriate level, which is good.
This school has made great strides in recent years academically. It regularly recognizes academic achievement. The Ready for College, Ready for Work certification program that includes the ratings of soft skills is especially beneficial to potential employers.
