It was a good small town school we didn't have a the new and best learning equipment but the teachers did there best with what they had. We had a good sports, band, cheer, and OAP. But the school was a little older, but it's getting renovated right now my younger sibling is still there. I would have to say the worst was that there was a lot of small town tension at times but other than that a pretty well rounded school.

Overall, I've had a good experience with the school, the teachers are great, leading students to areas that fit them the best. The best part is the teaching staff, the worst part is the lack of diverse classes(not many college classes are offered outside of the core subjects. I would like to see Mount Vernon High School obtain classes ranging from all of the subjects.
