One of the best parts of my experience has been sports. I have played football my entire life and love the sport, and around here Murphy is the place to be I have one State Championship and have made it to the third round of the playoffs every year. One thing I would love to see improve is teacher involvement with students and also improve on students readiness for the college life

Murphy High has great teachers and staff. The school has a long standing tradition of excellent sports teams.

Not enough funding and teachers who are not educated enough to provide a rigorous and challenging education that prepares students for college.

I loved my time at Murphy it has some small problems like all schools but Murphy is by far the best school in the area. Quality teachers and quality athletics which cultivates hard work, a winning attitude, and great memories. If I had it to do over again I would still go to Murphy I have friends in...

When my children went here we encountered the same thing many others have said - they have a fine athletic program. While athletics are important, so are academics and they are sadly overshadowed by the athletics. We found drugs to be such a problem there that my children chose to transfer to nearby...
