Murray High is the "city" school and Calloway County High is the "county" school in this area. Murray High is smaller. My son's graduating class will have 150 students. It's a rural area and many more students from Murray go to college than from Calloway. Murray High has small student-teacher ratios and the standard of excellence is high. There isn't a lot of diversity because we're in rural western KY. The marching band is incredible and goes to State every year. The speech team is great too.

I had a wonderful experience at MHS. It was an incredible environment with wonderful teachers, students, and administrators. It was a rigorous environment that pushed all students to be their best.

Not good, especially 12th grade. What they teach and give for classwork/homework is not for EVERYONE. Every kid learns different...

The same students stole and hid my phone right before we went on an overnight, weekend long field trip, so I didn't have it the whole time...
