Hilldale has probably been one of the better schools I've been to but like all things in life it has it's ups and downs. The teachers and how they teach has led me to understand the subjects more and more as time goes on. My one complaint is that the administration doesn't seem to take the problems of the students very serious like they should.

Hilldale is a place where you can really grow both as a student & as a person. The teachers care about helping you succeed & there's a strong sense of community among students & staff. They make an effort to get to know the students & push us to be better not only in academics but also in how we carry ourselves. The coaches here do a great job teaching discipline teamwork & accountability. Playing sports at Hilldale has taught me about hard work & how to handle both success & failure the right way. Another great thing about Hilldale is the opportunity to get involved. Whether it's sports clubs leadership programs or community service there are a lot of ways to participate. I learned the importance of showing up working hard & taking pride in representing my school and community. Overall It's a school that gives you as much as you're willing to put into it. If you take advantage of the opportunities & stay involved you'll get a great education & make lasting memories along the way

Didn't have a good experience because of the racism and homophobia at the school. I was always taunted and harassed by the jocks at the school. Wasn't diverse which meant that I couldn't connect to students who come from the same walks of life as me. Some of the teachers made it a better experience because of their kindness and appreciation for individualism with the students who were being their authentic selves while there were some other teachers who weren't this way.

My children have attended school at Hilldale for 14 yrs. My oldest graduated in 2015, and I have a freshman, 6th grader & a pre-schooler. If I was starting over with my oldest going to pre-school I would hands down choose Hilldale again.

I was an exchange student for few months in Hilldale, I study math on basic level in my home country, and they put me in Algebra 2, not only I noticed that I've studied algebra 2 in Junior high, also the teaching was really poor (my brother who is on 8th grade had more advanced math problems than I...

I feel something I said earlier makes me seem illiterate and whiney. Forget what I said about my spanish teacher, and I would like to say that now that I've put my glasses on, I know how to spell Physics. I don't enjoy being a Hilldale but many people are understanding and fair.
