I regret going here for my high school life. I should've gone to my home school. Lorenzo has many limitations; if you are like me and are unsure of your major, this isn't the place to go. No AP, AICE, or such classes besides AP Spanish. They make dual enrollment sound special and like we are the only ones to do it, but other schools are given the same opportunity. There are only 150 students per year so if you do not like your group, it's a shame because you are with them for the rest of the 4 years. There are no sports or much school spirit. However, if you are in the medical field, then this is a great school for you as you get all your needed academics out of the way and focus on your profession for the last two years. it is also nice going to school for only 3 hours a day. These medical fields do have much of a summer, and if you are okay with that sacrifice, then that's great, but in my opinion, we are still kids, and these are your last summers as a kid, and you should enjoy it.

Lorenzo Walker Technical High School was a great school, and the staff were excellent, but about three years ago, we got new administration, and it has gone downhill. Everyone, from the students to the staff, can feel it. The staff are still great, but the original staff did leave. Be careful when choosing to go here, the tech areas are great it's just the school lacks spirit, morals, and sports.
