They have put of lot of effort into expanding the STEM and health programs over the last few years which has created an environment with more opportunities for students.

Newberg senior high school has some truly amazing teachers, although it has a few teachers that kids avoid like anywhere. They have a few teams (like wrestling, water polo, and cheer) that always perform very well. It offers a good variety of electives and adds new classes often.

I'm a mixed student and I wouldn't say that there is a lot of to your face racism. The school district also always has something shady going on. My senior year somehow the school district lost $1m and they started making a bunch of cuts and there is always some kind of protest against the school board and the school boards decisions

I loved her small school, Green was our color and Mrs. Pugsley was our Principal, knew her kids and where they were academically. AP courses where highly encouraged. When the transition happe...
