I currently have a child in first grade. Our teacher quit mid-year, then a second teacher was hired, then they disappeared and now my child has a third teacher in one year. My oldest is in third and has a male teacher who my child loves. He goes above and beyond for his children. We love Mr. Long. The administration is good, but the school can't keep teachers. Parents are not involved because we are constantly working to put food on the table and most of us work nights or have to stay at home with our other kids. I wish the school could do more to cater to us. We were just set up parent climate survey which is why I am posting on here too. If the school could keep teachers, then the scores will go up.

Once again the Newberry Elementary have failed my child and myself.
