I attended when it was still Blackburn Middle School and was an extremely shy child that was still involved in a number of clubs and activities, like the newspaper club and battle of the books, thanks to the amazing teachers here.

I am highly dissapointed with the way this school operates they do not keep parents informed other than a piece of paper they charge for spirit week which is sickening and sad they are constantly out to get money out of the parents even if it means humiliating the children

My son is a 3rd grader at this school, and he has excelled more and more every day he has been with Blackburn! They have an excellent dedicated staff, and he'd rather go to school, than be home on holidays and summer break! its amazing!

The teachers are fantastic! They genuinely care about their students. The principal is very involved and very visible throughout the school. They are school of excellence several years and they have a terrific program there.
