Northside Middle has been serving the area since the 50's. It has a diverse student body and teachers that go above and beyond to help their students. I was surprised to see a comment about security officers, as there are only 2 for the entire school. The building is a bit old but has been updated several times to support more modern computer systems. For years, Northside has been one of the top performing schools amongst Norfolk middle schools.
