I started at Norman north my sophomore year I originally came from a private school background and was very nervous about going to Norman North, but I am so happy I did. I feel like I'm learning so much more than I ever have and I feel like I actually have a chance the teachers actually care. There are many APs that you can take.

Norman North is an ok school. The teachers are fine, but most lack motivation to teach the student and are only there to work. There are not a lot of clubs or sports, so you're on your own for extracurriculars. Unless you're in the highest classes, no AP prep happens and NO college prep happens whatsoever. 3/10

My time at Norman North high school in Norman Oklahoma has been a wonderful adventure. I have learned many valuable skills from the school and its teachers. Some teachers, however, did not provide full effort or proper teaching strategies that helped me learn. The fine arts department of the school is excellent and had great teachers behind it.

This school has put me through hell and back. Didn't do anything about my friends and I getting sexually assaulted by a guy and blamed it on us. Another thing is a guy walked up to my best friend clearly drunk and threatened to kill her, nothing happened. They actually got mad at us for sticking up...

Expect controlled chaos at all times. Even the admins do not know what is going on half the time. Not all the teachers are knowledgeable about their subject they teach and your student may have student teacher unsupervised by regular teacher and all of this occurs in college bound classes. I'm a sophomore at Norman North and I honestly hate this school so much because of everything that I've dealt with, if I could give 0 stars, I will, first of all, I had a teacher in the 9th grade that was seriously entitled and disrespectful (she was my English teacher), I had unfair lunch detention...
