Overall, my high-school experience was relatively good. I met new friends every year and the honor classes were always a good balance of challenging but not overloaded. There where some teachers that were better than others but most knew how to teach their class in effective and easy to comprehend ways.

My first two years in Northampton have been definitely an experience. My freshman year was very nerve racking since I was very fearful of state testing. I kept my circle very small and didn't talk much, I would eat lunch in the library everyday with my friends. Then sophomore year I kinda got out of my shell more and actually made some new friends. I would also say that the worst part of my high school experience was the workload and the way that some teachers taught. It would be a lot of information in a short amount of time.

I believed that it was overall a good high school to go to. Most of the teachers were very nice and understanding. There were plenty of clubs and programs to interest anyone. The main critizism I have is that the school gives almost no money and funding to the arts, so we have almost no rescoures or materials for them. I would like it if more of their funding went toward the more creative portions of the school body in order for them to become as outstanding as I know they can be.

Would not recommend Northampton area school district. They protect cyber bullies and punish the students that are sticking up for themselves. And then sweep everything under the rug has happened. Multiple times between the middle school and the high school the vice-principal has lied to my face 4 ti...

I am a parent and my daughter is now going in to 7th grade. She has had nothing but excellent experiences with her teachers since Kindergarten. Her teachers take a genuine interest in the children and foster exposure to many opportunities outside the classroom as well.
