The school is very orderly and ran well. All behavioral issues are addressed swiftly and fairly. My son really loves his school. Pepper School has a variety of assemblies and activities that promote positive behavior.

Mr. Haley is a very effective principal and a great role model for my son. He is always available to meet with parents and the secretary is very kind and helpful. I love their dress code and how it is enforced. The principal deals with all students fairly. The school is ran very well.

This school has low rates on everything .The children are below level. The majority of workers seem like they are not qualified. Seem like they need to do background checks on the volunteers . The children that need 504 plan or special education seem like the school does not want to help them..

For over a decade, 100% of schools in Oak Park have been rated below average according to state data. Why is there no intervention from the state or change in central office and building leadership? Our students deserve better. The district is failing generations of students.

The teachers lack real support because they are constantly trying to get the kids behavior under control because the kids knows the principal is not going to hold them accountable.
