In the center of the Highlander Community South neighborhood sits Fillmore Elementary School. Home of the Falcons, this public institution was founded in 1949 and named after former president Millard Fillmore. The school serves students close to 700 students ranging from pre-kindergarten to fourth grade with each class averaging 15 students for every one teacher. The school is serviced by Oklahoma City’s Board District 7 near the southern part of the metro area.
Fillmore Elementary School celebrates a diverse community of collaborative and excited learners. Every day is an opportunity for students to learn something new. Among its many resources, the school’s library media center offers classroom and at home help to support every student’s education. As a child who attended this school myself, I can personally say that I grew up loving this school, the teachers and staff. As a parent, I love that each of my child's teachers communicate 100% with me about things going on in school, at home, and in class. If they notice any mood changes they alway...

I have really enjoyed Fillmore this year, it is the first year my daughter has attended. Starting in 1st grade. Overall it seems to be a pretty good school, however I am extremely pleased with my daughter's teacher Lorie Hester, she is an amazing woman that has taught my daughter many things so far....

Put your child in any school but this one! It is terrible!! SO glad that we moved away from this school!!!
