I enjoyed my first two years of highschool but by the end of it, there was too much drama and not enough punishment for the ones starting it. I have been getting bullied for the past few months and not much action has been taken. Although besides this issue I enjoyed my years at OHS, with the teachers and activities included.

I've enjoyed my time at Opelika High School. I have really grown academically since starting, thanks to the teachers and administrators. The coursework, I feel, has prepared me for college. I have been in the band and have loved that experience. I also played baseball, didn't enjoy that as much due to politics, which should really change. To me, that has been the worst part.

While my overall experience thus far has been a good one, there are things that I'd change. The food is less than subpar, there isn't much ethnic diversity when it comes to clubs and such either. I do feel safe while at school, and feel like I'm being well prepared for life after high school in a college sense, but not in a real world sense.

I have honestly had the worst years of my life at this school. They claim they do everything to prevent bullying but they do absolutely nothing until you tell them something they don't want you to know. some of the teacher are cool and all but others just sit around on their phones all of the time....

Opelika is an incredible place for kids to learn and grow. The programs they offer the students are first class. Their Fine Arts, Athletics, and Career Tech programs add to the overall experience the kids get from great teachers in the classrooms.
