I was initially reluctant for my two grandchildren to attend the public schools in Forsyth County, believing instead that they may be better served in a private school setting; I was wrong. Otwell Middle School has challenged them both to be better students, to be inquisitive about this region, the state, country and world in which they live. At Otwell, they have thrived.

The school is terrible. Some teachers care, but the education is mediocre. The principal is mediocre; she doesn't care about the students' education, much less their safety. She's arrogant, never shows her face, always hides, and sends other people to talk... they even steal, break lockers, and bull...

The teachers were really nice and engaged. We never had an issue with teachers or other students outside of the normal certain students not getting along. Overall, the environment is safe and the table is set to allow the students to learn.
