Great school and town to grow up in with a small close knit community. Lots of culture in the school especially the sports.

Panhandle high was such a loving and family based atmosphere, there was not on faculty member who wouldn't put you before them. The teachers and staff worked hard to make sure you will have all the skills need to prosper in the world.

I am entering my Senior year at Panhandle High School. My classmates have been my friends since kindergarten. We are a small tight knit community. Our town is very supportive of our academic, Band and athletic teams. Our community young and old travels hours to games to fill the stands to support our teams. I recently qualified and ran at the State Track meet in Austin and numerous alumni came to watch my teammates and myself compete. I broke a 38 year record and the former record holder messaged me on how proud she was that it was me that broke her record.Our teachers are supporting and approachable and truly want us to excel. Panhandle High School my home my community my support system my family . One day someone is going to beat my record and I want them to feel the warmth that I felt from the community. These are the traditions and values our School instills in us . PHD the best !!

I hate this school some teachers are good but most of them go way to fast with the subject our math teacher wont shut up about her old school she loses home work and she called our class that were all stupid all my school cares about is money if a student is not at school then the school loses money...
