Overall I really liked going to school here, it prepared me for college and gave me new passions that I've still carried with me.

West County is a public high school with a higher grading scale. It forces studies to study harder to accomplish their goals. The high grading scales have made me strive more in school. There is little to no diversity though and frequent fights. We are three months into the school year and there have roughly been six fights. These fights occur because it is a moderately small school so drama happens frequently. The teachers are really kind and you can talk to them about almost anything. These considerate teachers have helped me get through some of my toughest times and allowed me to find positives in any negative situation.

Teachers & Academics West County has great teachers who really want to see their students succeed and are willing to help as much as they can. The school also offers many academic opportunities and is partnered with MAC to offer duel-credit college classes. Clubs, Activities, & Sports I would say we had a good variety of clubs and after school activities to choose from, but a student from a larger school once told me we did not. The school does seem to put more emphasis on athletics unfortunately, but the students and teachers and run most of the clubs well. School Culture & Administration These two aren't related, but I feel the same about both. I've heard very mixed opinions about the upper staff. A couple of them will be retiring in the next two years though, so hope for the best. As for the student body, several of the teachers have expressed concern for the younger portion. I don't know what direction the overall culture will go in.
