My favorite part of being in high school was being in the band. The high school offers college ready courses. The school is overpacked, but that is because a lot of people want to go to school there.

Permian High School offers students a variety of programs to be able to be college ready. Permian provides a strong sports department and I have been able to be part of it. The staff and personal of the school are always willing to help. I have found great teachers that inspire me to do better. The coaches are always looking to take me to the next level. It has been a great experience on how Permian High School's goal is to help students be collage oriented and have a mindset to become better in life. Counselors make an effort to talk about not only our classes but what is the next step. They offer a variety of options to make academic choices easier for us.

Pretty good overall, one of the best things I've seen is the people eagerness to help you, a lot of the teachers and faculty will do their best to help you whether it's an in-class concept or guidance in real life. Programs are very good, and many qualify for college credit. Overcrowded though, the auditorium is almost always completely filled with people whose teachers aren't there. I think it's something like 1000 students too many attending.

I am also a 2010 graduate. I do not recommended this school. The teachers only teach the students who are the shinning star , rather then teach the ones who truelly need the help.
