Petersburg High School is a very interesting school located in Petersburg, West Virginia. The classes are nice and the teachers care.

I've went to Petersburg High School since I was in the seventh grade. My experience with my public school has been nothing less then I expected. The staff their are always willing to help in anyway possible, and also extremely friendly. One thing in years to come I would like to see change is the food. I understand it is partially not the cooks fault because they have to follow state guild lines. I would like to see more variety in the food they serve.

Decent school for a small town in West Virginia. Underpaid teachers do not teach as much as they should. Not a whole lot of extra curricular activities except for sports. Some AP classes and early start, dual credit college classes. Foreign language program needs major overhaul.

Teachers are bullies. When reported. Nothing gets done because of the tenure. They focus more on sports then on learning.

Recent accusations levied against staff at this facility are of grave concern. "In loco parentis" PHS has failed at a fundamental level. Direct supervision of staff at all levels is necessary.

I live 4 hours from Petersburg High School, but would love to tell you what it means to me. I was blessed to have two(2) Grandsons graduate from here.
