Well funded magnet school for the mostly rural surrounding area, I really liked the CTE (career technical education) program, which connects students to trades and specialty classes at other high schools in the area.

Administration does not care about the students. If your child is having any problems with the teacher, they want to brush it under the rug. They blame it on the students. Even the counselors there are scared of losing their job. They don't have the students best interest first and foremost, all they care about is how they look from the outside.

My experience with Petoskey High School was very positive overall. I feel that this school placed a good amount of emphasis on college readiness while still uplifting students who did not plan on going to college. Always felt like a safe environment and teachers always there to talk to/help out.

What a great school! People move here from all over the state to send their kids to PHS, and now I know why.

Staff and teachers pretend to care. Mental health crisis. Vaping and smoking run rampant. This school is the worst!!! Do not send your kids here. (-a student)
