I enjoy the community and culture present at Pickens High, and the switch in administration has been refreshing. However, there is a large discrepancy in diversity. Many students and teachers alike are carbon copies.

I graduated Picken High in 2021. I had a great experience the four years that I was there. I did suffer a close loss in my family during this time and the teachers and other staff were very supporting and understanding.

Going to Pickens High was the best decision I made for career readiness. My favorite part were the teachers because most of them actually care about you.

The school was okay. I left in 9th grade because a girl told some lies on me however. They gave her all the support she wanted even though they knew she lied. They never supported me at all through the situation aside from a “oh just stay away from her”. I have to deal with the emotional trauma ever...

Its hard leaving a small middle school and then walking into a gigantic school. It is really scarey as of first day of 9th. But after he first day your used to it till you go to college. The athletic stuff is great and the principle is amazing.
