Overall my time at Plainfield east has been enjoyable. I think it was easy to make friends and find a little niche to participate in. the quality of the curriculum is very high and the variety of higher level and even college level classes is intense. If I were to complain about anything I would talk about how there are fights almost once a week and its gotten to the point where armed officers stand around the school.

I have been at Plainfield East for the last 4 years of my life, and I would say that it is a very good learning environment that benefits students and parents. This school is one of the best in Illinois and not a lot of changes should be made in my opinion.

I think that overall, Plainfield East high school is a great school for students. The teachers at the school are very sweet and always looking to help their students. I love that there is always something for each student at the school to participate in. They have so many clubs and extracurricular activities that are really fun to be apart of. This school has also helped me meet some of the most amazing people and which some of them have become my best of friends. I am glad to have spent my four years of high school here.

Plainfield East High School has wonderful leadership, compassionate teachers and great school spirit. They offer Dual Credit classes, AP and Honor classes that prepare students for the ACT/SAT and college. 2 of our children are at East currently and love being involved and have never had any issues...

Plainfield East responds well to course change requests. For example, my daughter felt she should be in honors algebra and the school changed her schedule changed right away.
