The high school is very good compared to the other schools in the area. There are lots of opportunities provided to students who actively pursue their education.

The teachers are all fairly new and have little experience teaching. While I feel at some point they will be excellent teachers currently they are still fresh and trying to figure out how to teach. The students are often the ones who suffer the consequence of this. I also feel as if the classes are very simple, and there is very little challenge scholastically within the student body.

The groups have potential, but there is a lack of funding for the "push" they need to be excellent.

Terrible leadership. There is no follow through and they pick and choose who they discipline and who they don't. I feel my children will not be prepared for college. Most teachers teach 15 minutes and then kids are on their phones 45 minutes. Kids run the show here.

My daughter graduated from Plattsburg high school with 27 college credits. The school partners well with local colleges to make these available and affordable. The textbooks for the college courses were even free.
