Generally a good school, but lacking significantly in the college guidance department and teachers are often too focused on using grades for the sake grading than actual signposts for what students are and are not learning.

Pleasantville is an excellent school in which parents are very involved and academics are a priority. It can be a but competitive though but I feel like my kids are very prepared. In addition services for learning disabilities is amazing. It is a very small school and everyone knows each other.

Many different activities, something to do for everyone. Almost every teacher is great. Food is good for a high school. Academics aren't too hard but you can learn a lot if you want

I had a mostly good experience at PHS. I often got stressed out about the workload and grades, partially because a lot of students here are overachievers and that rubs off easily. Some of the people and parents can be flaky or rude, and some teachers pick clear favorites.

Nothing is perfect but for our tax dollars we are getting a LOT of bang for our bucks. My siblings have their children in NYC Private schools and our District is on...
