Overall my experience so far at Portage High School has been a pretty positive one. My teachers always show that they are confident in me, and Portage has shaped me into a well-behaved student.

My favorite experience at Portage High School would have to be when we had our pep rally for this year. As a senior, it was important to me that we won the spirit stick. Seniors did win it and it made my day better. I will recount though that some of the convocations they hold tend to take up a lot of time. Additionally, not many students are able to connect the lessons from the assembly and still end up engaging in bad behaviors.

The first thing you notice about portage is the size of the school, but it was not always this big. it used to just be a small section, but now it has all this floors, and hallways that stretch for what seems like miles. their music program is the most fun thing there is about portage. and its not just the school that's big, its the people's hearts who's portage

Incompetent school board. Unqualified Superintendent. Low school rankings in test scores for all levels of education. Safety is a joke. Lots of drugs and sex in the bathrooms that the school doesn't report. There is no Portage Pride anymore.

School (mainly it’s students and some staff) is full of racism, homophobia, bullying, body shaming and so much more. It feels like a toxic environment. Some of the teachers are okay, but others are part of the problem when it comes to not doing anything about discrimination or bullying, instead igno...

Horrible, I was severely bullied for being underweight due to my stomach disease and all of the councilors put it off like it was no big deal and I should just "love myself no matter what they say" instead of putting forth the effort to stop the bullying in the first place. Now, when it comes to act...
