So far, it has been relatively smooth sailing. Teachers have generally been good, with the unfortunate occasional outlier.

Sunset has great teachers that make everyone feel welcome and encourage students to learn to think for themselves. Most of the students are pretty great too, although some of them don't seem to appreciate all the work that teachers do for us. I think there needs to be more of an atmosphere of thankfulness at Sunset.

Sunset High School is a diverse and inclusive place. It is very supportive of all of its students and the IB Diploma program is very eye open and transformative for students

i attended sunset all four years, i was a shy and quiet student and wouldnt really interact with other students. almost all of my teachers i had noticed that and would offer help to me whenever they could. whether it be if i wanted to come in during free period for extra help, needed extra time for...

After graduating from Sunset, our 4 children went on to college, 2 receiving full scholarships to the U of O. They became a copy-writer, surgeon, actress and statistical analyst. Sunset high school is a great school that prepared me for the real world. Teachers/Coaches challenged me to be my best in the classroom, athletics, and in life. I highly recommend this school
