I personally was not a big fan of highschool. Putting that aside however, I truly believe Portsmouth Highschool to be a great school. They are a very close knit community and has very good academics. There is many oppurtunities to join clubs and sports as well!!

All of the teachers were very nice and supportive, and the classes were academically challenging without being overwhelmingly stressful. I feel like the communication between faculty and students could have been better, but it has been improving recently.

Overall my experience at PHS has been very positive. The school has been very inclusive when it comes to new opportunities and experiences. I've personally enjoyed the athletic department and the wide variety of clubs that our school allows for us.

I had lots of great teachers at this school, however the ones that did not offer me the support when I needed it the most is enough for me to give it one star. They can advocate for mental health all they want but I never felt more unwelcome and disregarded than at this school.

I had two children go through this school and I was disappointed at every turn. Too many students fall through the cracks and bullying is never dealt with or taken seriously. Too many teachers play favorites and if you are not a person of means, your concerns fall on deaf ears.

My personal experience was pathetic. As someone who has consistently been ahead of the curve in all forms of academics, I graduated this school with less than a 2.0 GPA because no effort was put in to encouraging me to make any effort to participate in academics. I was consistently stuck in classes...

Disastrous!! They ultimately asked her to quit! However, Sunday, May 27, 2018 she received her MPA from Brown University
