I liked how laid back every one is at Post High School. The rules are not really strict and the teachers are nice and teach pretty well. None of the kids are too bad they all listen for the most part.

I liked being at a small school and knowing everyone around me. The main thing I would change is the way some things are taught. I feel as though teachers are so focused on helping us pass STAAR tests that it is hard for them to teach us the things we actually need for college, for example ACT material. I had a hard time taking the ACT because I was taught how to test for STAAR instead of ACT.

Their is quite a bit of peer pressure you hear conversations of kids going out on the weekends to drink, smoke, and more. Some kids even push others to come over and "party" with them.

I have two kids that recently graduated from this school, and both earned academic scholarships to Big 12 universities. If the kids want to learn and apply themselves they will do good at this school; however, education is not a priority for the general community of Post.
