We moved to Preston from Dorchester county (Hurlock) because of the school system. We started with the preschool at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Never once second guessed our decision. Preston elementary is a Wonderful school.

This school was exceptional to work with throughout her elementary school years. They provided time and attention to her needs, allowed opportunity for parents to be involved and welcomed feedback.

My son is currently is Preston Elementary. He has done well so far. I read some of the reviews and agree about the recess is way too short. I don't blame the staff for their restrictions on that or what is taught I blame the Maryland Dept. of Education. The teachers and principals are doing what the...

The staff and admin. put on a good show at this school, but behind the scenes it is all about helping the lower students pass the state test. Many of the higher students go on to private school once they leave this school.
