My best experience at Mid-Carolina has been playing for the volleyball program they have. My freshman year they just got new coaches and I've been playing for them ever since. I love the sports environment and I love how well the volleyball coaches take care of the team. My worst experience would have to be when I was taking my geometry class my freshman year. The teacher wouldn't teach and we would spend over half of the class going over homework. The teacher was a good person but not a good teacher. I would like to see a change in the academics and teachers. There are very few AP classes taught in my district and very few teachers who actually care for the well being of their students' academic futures. I want more AP classes along with better teachers who can prepare me for my future.

My overall experience at Mid-Carolina High School has been great. I have a medical diagnosis of depression. The guidance counselor has been my number one team mate. She makes sure with me daily that every thing is going ok. She helped me set up a 504 to help with my depression and anxiety at school. My teachers have been really understanding with my diagnosis and school work. The faculty are truly there for the students.

Mid Carolina High School is a good school just there's a lot of stress inflicted on the students AND teachers because of the district or administration. They set rules that are unrealistic and seem to make high school worse as the years go by. administration is rude and takes away from class time to "punish" students who are just trying to get to class or get it together. nobody has any remorse in the school.
