While Queens Metro is not the most prestigous or amazing school, I am happy with my experience and can confidently say that I would have not had a better experience at a different school. The faculty for the most part is very helpful and understanding, and there is a pretty strong student culture, at least for my class.

QMHS was a great 4 years for me. I've met many people from different backgrounds. The teachers truly care about your education and want you to succeed. The school is kept clean and is safe. The school lunch food is a bit of a let down as it is not tasty and sometimes doesn't look edible to eat

Some opportunities are listed in a school newsletter that they post every week but they don't show more programs or internships that can be interesting. I don't feel as prepared as I should for college too. Plus all the college tour trips they offer are on school days and I don't want to miss a day for that so I mainly have to check colleges out in my free time. They don't offer SAT prep or ACT information too.

As a parent we all want whats best for our kids to give them the opportunity to succeed in life. If you want that for your child this is the school to be in. My son who is disabled will be graduating this year. He has thrived and learned so much academically and emotionally. The staff has been hands...

This was the worse decision my son and I made. I wish we would have never attended this school. Do not expect responses when reaching out to admin regarding your child. The only time they do contact you is when it's too late for anyone to make any changes. Worse school my child could have attended,...

Excellent school. Most teachers are young and motivated and the school has a friendly and supportive environment. The principal, Ms. Rodriguez-Tabone is great; she not only strives for academic excellence, but she constantly makes an effort to integrate parents and the school community in extracurri...

Some people get MELS (Metropolitan Expeditionary Learning School) and Queens Metropolitan High School mixed up. I want to clarify that MELS and Metropolitan High School are two completely separate, independent schools. They have nothing to do with one another. I didn’t know how good Queens Metro was...
