Mire is a great school and getting better. The physical facilities are somewhat run down and old, but the gym has a/c and some of the classrooms are brand new.

Our time with Mire Elementary is about to come to an end as our 8th grader is about to spread his wings and fly on to high school. I agree with the parent posting about "not being one of them" if the teachers and staff do not personally know the parents, or relatives of the child attending mire elementary, apparently not every rule in the student handbook relates to your child. I know my child is bullied and picked on everyday,...
