I wish that we had more funding for our band. The band is not considered VHSL therefore, we have to raise all of our money.

The worst part is the vaping by some of the kids in the school. The best part would probably how most of the teachers interact with you in the classroom or halls. What I would like to see is a less-strict system against phone use in the classroom. Most students are done with there work in about half the class period. Not being able to use our phones after the work has been done is just cruel because there is nothing really else to do. I would say you could talk to your friends but almost every teacher gets on for you for doing that.

Richlands was a decent place to go to school. They thought what I needed to know and helped push me into figuring out what I wanted to do with my life. The teachers and staff are very friendly and will drop what they're doing to help a student. That is for the most part. I have enjoyed being able to go to school here. I would like to see more fine art based classes incorporated into RHS. This would make me thrilled since my major is going to be art driven.

Richlands High is my alma mater and I now send my children to this school, as well. RHS continues to have many amazing teachers that care tremendously about their students' academic success, but more importantly their success in life.
