We are considering pulling both of our children out of the school due to the increase in drugs, and gang recruiting on and off-campus ( the recruiting is even happening at after-school sports. ) No doubt these groups are targeting JJL due to the racial and income inequity of the kids. The sad truth is that most of the students are home alone after school, most are living below the poverty line, more than half come from broken homes or a single-mom home and they don't have the resources or ability to offer parental supervision after school.

i love this school. i am going on to high school next school year and i am going to miss it so much. we have great teachers that will push you to your limits , and offer tons of help before, after school and during lunch. we have a "club" after school where teachers, and highschool students come to...

I've been living in romeoville for 9yrs. I must say the school system is great the teachers at Rc hill and lucancic were really helpful my son just graduated and he did very well thanks to all the support of the teachers!!!

I moved to romeoville last year and have to say the school is great. The teachers care about the students. They are quick to inform you if your children are starting to slip in class and communicate regularly with the parents either by e mail or phone calls. They are active in sports and the coaches...
