The previous two postings are both untrue and inaccurate. Mr.Berg is an award winning educator who has just been promoted to a more senior position within BPS..This is an isolated incident which was handled very poorly by the parents involved...(Her other son is still a student at the Philbrick). The school is admittedly going through a transition at the moment with the hiring of a new principal and some new teachers...But I have no doubt that with a fantastic parent council and wonderful families within the Philbrick community it will remain the,"Hidden Gem" of BPS..

My daughter has attended this school since K2 and has received a stellar education. The teachers are competent and have good classroom control, the principal is energetic and empathetic, and the school has a real community feel.
