The administration is not interested in the safety and well being of students. If a parent contacts any of the principals the will be given the run around and pushed off to someone else. It feels like a never ending vicious cycle. My child has been physically harmed multiple times within one school year and nothing has been put into place to protect him or any other student. The administration tries to down play any issues myself or my child has had. It is an unsafe environment. The teachers are not supportive of students with IEP and other plans. If your child needs additional services with the expectation that teachers and staff will communicate with you please choose a different district. You will not get it at Royal Oak Middle School.

Had to remove my child from the school she was bullied on a daily basis and constant threats to her safety. The children even came after me as her mother. Posted TikTok about her encouraging other kids to bully her. Horrible horrible school.

There is a fist fight almost everyday and the principal does not care at all.

Bullying rampant and principal doesn’t care, school counselors believe that if every kid they see is nice to them that they are nice to everybody, too many kids crammed in one building, 0 individual attention, help or care from the teachers, horrible school and people in it
