The one thing that I like about my school is that it's a historical black school. My school was the first African-American school west of the Mississippi river.

We have never had a complaint. Drugs are not used, especially on school property.

Within the past two years, Sumner high school has changed dramatically by the Administration team and teachers focusing on teaching and learning instead on discipline matters.
